Strap Winder
A few people have seen our Balloon
Crew using our Strap Winder after a tether or after using a Drop
Line and they had asked for pictures, so here is the pics and
a brief explanation.
Hopefully it is self explanatory,
but a brief summary is that we use Wing Nuts to attach the Winder
to the edge of the Eagle Lift. We drilled holes in both
sides of the Eagle Lift as we have some Crew members that are
left handed.
You can install the Winder in 30
Seconds and uninstall it just as easy.For the pictures shown here,
it is mounted on the Right hand side of the Eagle Lift.
Notice the little peg by the shaft?
That is where you put the loop of your Strap.
Hook the strap on the Winder as
seen below.
Start cranking the handle and it
should fill up on the shaft like shown below.
Here it is all wound up!
Here is another side view.
Simply undo the nut by hand and
remove the strap!
